Fury Flatliner

When he was thirteen, Fury witnessed the murder of his parents at the hands of a monster, and swore revenge. Five years later, he finally manages to defeat the monster, but quickly understands that this is merely the beginning of his quest for vengeance.

Fury learns that the monster was a so-called Frankenstein, and that there are scientists all over the world working on creating more of them. He decides that he has to destroy all Frankensteins and stop this research once and for all before he can find peace.

Fury is a skilled fighter with considerable strength and determination. He also has the temper to match his name. All in all, he is not the kind of person you want mad at you.

When he defeated his parents' killer, Fury was actually mortally wounded and resurrected as a Frankenstein by Dr. Peaberry. He himself only realizes this until some time later (ch. 5).

His once best friend, Wraith, was also turned into a Frankenstein, went insane and killed their friend, Edel. Before this, Fury was willing to make an exception for his friend, but now his hatred for Frankensteins is absolute and he has nothing left except his vengeance. He is especially determined to kill Wraith.

Fury teams up with Dr. Peaberry, who shares his goal of destroying all Frankensteins, and has actually created Fury for this exact mission.
