Wraith Allen

Another survivor of the attack on a group of travellers in the Scottish Highlands, ten years ago. Unlike Fury, Wraith does not regret his father's death in the least and does not desire revenge. His father was an alcoholic who often took out his anger at the boy.

Wraith feels that Fury was the first person who ever really cared for him, and grows very close to him. They are best friends. He has also developed a fascination with discovering and understanding the true nature of the monster from that night.

Wraith is not particularly strong physically, but quiet, calm and intelligent.

Right in the first chapter, Wraith dies and is turned into a Frankenstein.

After he becomes a Frankenstein, Wraith suffers a subtle but significant personality change. His affection for Fury grows into obsession.

He eventually murders Edel because he does not want to share Fury's attention with her. Of course, this only causes Fury to turn against him..
